Welcome to Malmesbury! We are a cosmopolitan school at the heart of our local community in Bow, Tower Hamlets.  Our little pocket of London brings together children from all backgrounds. We are proudly multicultural and inclusive. 

We focus on creating a positive, caring atmosphere for our children and families. Our school motto is “Be the Best You Can Be.”  We have high expectations of ourselves and everyone connected to our school community. We ask ourselves ‘what would it take?’ and then we do it! We are proud of how we work together and what we achieve.

We want our children to be happy, confident, ambitious and independent young people.  We offer great teaching and learning with all the support and guidance our children need along the way to thrive. We are passionate about growing respectful and responsible community members who understand and contribute to the world around them.

We welcome new children and families.  

We follow Tower Hamlets policy and arrangements for admitting new children.

We welcome the opportunity to show potential new families around.  This is an important opportunity to learn about who we are and how we work.  It is also an opportunity to answer initial questions from parents/carers. Please contact our office to find out more. 

Nursery: We take nursery children from the term after their 3rd birthday – please get in touch if you are interested in a place for January 2027 or Easter 2027.  Places are full-time for families who have a 30-hour code (working families) or for families who wish to pay to top-up.  All other nursery places are part-time morning places.

Current reception classes: we are currently full. However, sometimes places do become available.  Please contact Tower Hamlets Admissions team if you are interested in applying for our waiting list.

Reception September 2027: If you are considering a place for your child, please contact our office to book a tour. 

Tours start at 9.10am, last approximately 45 minutes and are led by our Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
